New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania get pretty cold in the winter months (July August & September). On the whole, Australian houses are designed to let the heat out in the summer and few have central heating. If you are here during this period then you will need appropriate clothing!! If you are during this time do not be disapointed at the weather - just have a little patience
