Most hospitals in Australia will give you a week off after nights to "recover." If you combine this week off with annual leave then you effectively get 2-for-1... happy days!

Note you will should check to see if you get paid for this week off - many hospitals "forget" to inform you of this and you usually only find out when you get your pay cheque!
