Are there any overseas bank receiving charges? The Australian Dollar surged to an 11 year high against Sterling in April after Australian consumer price inflation rose to its highest level since 1991 and Sterling continued to come under pressure from the effects of the credit crunch. The sharp decline from the beginning of the month came as the Bank of England cut interest rates to 5% as they battle with slowing growth and the falling housing market. Read this article in full

When HiFX send payments they endeavour to cover the receiving charges this end, however, in the event that a client is charged they will arrange a full refund (in Sterling equivalent) upon proof in the form of a bank statement. Note: this does not include charges incurred where the funds being sent are in a different currency than the destination bank account. |

After a slight hesitation about not using my bank, I would like to thank HiFX very much for all your help.
