Is HiFX regulated by the Financial Services Authority? E-mail
There are two categories of foreign exchange - speculative foreign exchange and deliverable foreign exchange. Speculative foreign exchange is viewed by the Financial Services Authority to be an investment and therefore falls under its remit.

Deliverable foreign exchange however, is deemed money transfer and therefore is regulated by HM Revenue and Customs and this includes the main high street banks. HiFX PLC provides deliverable foreign exchange services and therefore falls under the remit of HM Revenue and Customs (reg no. is 12131222).
