If the T-Chest carton is packed using a mixture of clothes, shoes with the occasional book or album, the cartons should not exceed the maximum weight. The average weight in such circumstances is 30 - 35kg. When packing a T-Chest carton please avoid heavy items such as books, photo albums, CD's or DVD's. These will quickly accumulate the weight, instead, use a Book Box when packing these items, it has the same maximum weight and is just as strong as a T-Chest carton. Should a carton exceed the maximum weight, the collection driver will provide you with a Book Box and ask that you transfer items out of the offending carton into the Book Box while he is loading the remainder of your cartons. |
