Average rating0.0out of 5This is a teaching hospital serving Far North Queensland and Torres Strait Islands. Very friendly, relaxed hospital where ties are banned, tropical shirts are worn every Friday and there is an annual moustache-growing contest in November. It serves as a teaching hospital for James Cook University. The hospital is on the sea front and a short walk to the centre of town. Accomodation is easily obtained and generally of a very high standard. Quality of life is excellent if you can tolerate blistering heat and hgh humidity. Proximity to rainforest and reef a massive bonus.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely go back.
