Friendly department with good support at night. Excellent nursing staff. High volume of elderly medical patients come through the ED. Good time off after nights, and just over 2 weeks annual leave in 6 months. Once on a 6 month job, it seems fairly easy to extend Emergency training.    In addition currently not a huge number of British/Irish doctors here. Western hospital is based in a poor socioeconomic area so is best to live in Melbourne city centre. Social scene very limited. Was this review helpful to you?     Report as inappopriate
